eCommerce Logistics Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive E-commerce Logistics Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics processes, particularly within the e-commerce sector, and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. This role will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the movement of goods through our e-commerce and logistics channels, ensuring customer satisfaction from the time of purchasing of goods, to the reception of shipments to the Miami hub, to the transportation, to the customs clearance, and timely delivery while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of logistics operations for our e-commerce platform, including order fulfillment, shipping, and returns.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as warehouse operations, customer service, and sales, to ensure seamless logistics processes.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (EasyShop Hub in Miami and EasyShop IT and customer service departments in Costa Rica), including carriers for air and sea shipments to negotiate contracts, rates, and service levels.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and eCommerce marketplaces such as amazon, eBay, Shein, Aliexpress, TEMU, to ensure cordial support and exceptional customer service is provided and adequate stock levels are maintained.
• Analyze logistics data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in e-commerce logistics and incorporate them into our logistics strategy.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards governing e-commerce logistics, including customs, import/export regulations, and shipping requirements.
• Resolve logistics-related issues and customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and shipping policies, to guide logistics operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience, 5 years within the eCommerce logistics industry primarily, brick and mortar logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes, including order fulfillment, shipping, and inventory management.
• Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and carriers, with a track record of successful negotiation and contract management.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and systems, such as EasyShop Intranet system, EasyShop MyEasyShop system, EasyShop CMR, and other over the shelve customer interaction systems such as COLS, UPLOADER, COST CALCULATOR, and e-commerce marketplace and platforms (e.g., EasyShop, Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Magento, Aliexpress, SHEIN, TEMU).
• Experience in quoting import and export services from multiple carriers, as well as quotation for products purchasing, shipping services, and duty assessment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and KPIs to drive improvements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to e-commerce logistics and customs law.

Preferred Qualifications

• Depth knowledge of the EasyShop systems, applications, and various software.
• Keen understanding of the EasyShop inter-departmental workflow and professional relations to interact effectively and get the job done.
• Experience with international logistics and cross-border e-commerce operations.
• Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience implementing and managing automated logistics solutions (e.g., EasyShop systems, warehouse automation).
