To be able to trouble shoot, maintain, repair and install water heaters. To be familiar with service and maintenance of laundry equipment e.g. 100 lb gas dryers to 100 lbs high-speed washers. To be able to trouble shoot, maintain, repair and install room appliances. To be able to trouble shoot, maintain, repair and install commercial kitchen equipment. To be able to trouble shoot, maintain, repair and install high volume Restaurant equipment. Must be able to trouble shoot, maintain, repair and install pump equipment - 25 pumps from ¼ hp to 30 hp and the various related equipment. Waste water treatment plant operation and maintenance repair of equipment. Company vehicle maintenance and repair. Building maintenance and repairs as needed. Carpentry installations and repairs. Masonry installations and repairs. Plumbing installations and repairs. Electrical installations and repairs. Pool maintenance, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair. Small equipment repair. Welding different alloys by arc electric soldering and braising. Painting skills from preparations to finishing of enamels, gloss, flat, sprayed, brushed and rolled paint. Lifting of 75 lbs. Digging holes, empting garbage cans and sweeping floors. Must also be competent to carry out all duties outlined in Job Description for Groundsman. (See Below) Does daily garbage pickup. Carries out the beach cleanup. Cleans the public areas including verandah. Cleans the barbecue grills Cuts/mows lawns. Trims and edges around walks, flower beds, and walls. Prunes ground plants, shrubs, flowering plants, hedges and trees to shape and improve growth or remove damaged leaves, branches, or twigs. Sprays lawn, shrubs, and trees with fertilizer, herbicides, and insecticides. Rakes and bags or burns leaves. Cleans outdoor grounds and removes litter. Plants grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs. Waters lawn and shrubs. Repairs fences, gates, walls, and walks. Cleans out drainage ditches and culverts. Maintains all gardening tools and equipment by greasing and cleaning as necessary. Sharpens tools such as weed cutters, edging tools, and shears. Ensures all tools are put back in their correct location after use. Makes minor repairs on equipment such as lawn mower, spreader, and sand removal equipment. Maintains the upkeep on the tractors and trailers Keeps beach clean with beach cleaner. Operation of light duty machines.
