EXTERNAL AND CIVIL WORKS MANAGER

A major international construction group seeks an Earthworks & Civil Works Manager for a luxury hotel complex in the Cayman Islands. The role covers full supervision of earthworks (excavation, bulk earthworks, backfill, compaction, external improvement and civil: drainage, stormwater, potable water, sewage, electrical ducts, telecoms and external road works. The candidate will develop works schedules, coordinate interfaces with structural and MEP underground teams, manage subcontractors from tender through final account, oversee topographic surveys and setting-out, and anticipate risks related to groundwater, soil conditions and coastal constraints. Requirements: civil engineering degree (ESTP, ESITC or equiv.), 9+ yrs in earthworks & VRD management, proven subcontractor management and financial tracking (budget control, DGD), working knowledge of AutoCAD and planning software (MS Project, Procore). International experience a plus. English fluent.
