Housekeeper/Kitchen Helper (Shared)

Primary functions include ensuring the impeccable cleanliness of the guest rooms and public areas of the resort and condominiums. The ideal candidate is comfortable in handling a busy laundry room, including peak turn days, following company standard instructions in safe handling of chemicals, equipment and supplies.The ideal candidate has a strong Housekeeping background in premium hotels/resorts and is capable of working unsupervised and taking full ownership of all cleaning duties as per company requirements.Fulfillingthe company’s ‘JEM Way’ standards and seamless delivery of our renowned guest service are all crucial to this role. Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning guest rooms, resort public spaces and auxiliary locations
• Responding to guest requests
• Fulfilling minimal inventory duties to upkeep the correct supply of bathroom and hot beverage amenities
• Safe handling trash and recycling
• Safe handling of numerous cleaning chemicals
• Operating small Housekeeping equipment including, but not limited to commercial and residential vacuums, floor machines, etc.
• Operating laundry facilities including commercial and residential washers, dryers, and ironers
• Respond to and handle guest requests in a courteous, efficient, safe manner, via resort channels

The Kitchen Helper sees to the Kitchen experience of the resort. Primary functions include ensuring the impeccable cleanliness of the kitchen including, but not limited to, dishes, glassware, and flatware, storage rooms, floors, equipment, and receiving areas. The ideal candidate has a strong culinary background in 4-5 star hotels/resorts, and is capable of working unsupervised and taking full ownership of the cleanliness of the kitchen, as well as being able to fulfill checklists timely and accurately.

Summary of essential job functions

• Washing and disinfecting dishes, glassware, and flatware
• Cleaning and organizing storage rooms
• Cleaning general Kitchen equipment (including specialty equipment and finishes / expresso equipment)
• Cleaning receiving areas
• Assisting with minor food preparation
• Assisting with routine Kitchen inventory and provisions record-keeping
• Assisting with routine Kitchen deep cleans

This role is primarily located at Cayman Brac Beach Resort, however from time to time the employee may be required to cover vacations and absences at Little Cayman Beach Resort as demand dictates
