Undertake service calls to assess and resolve customer needs for both air-conditioning systems and household appliances.
Diagnose faults in A/C units and appliances, carrying out the necessary repairs.
Perform or assist with installations of air-conditioning systems and appliances, including condensing units, air handlers, mini-split A/C systems, and other major equipment.
Fabricate and install A/C ducting, or provide assistance in the process as required.
Conduct or support routine maintenance of air-conditioning systems and appliances: inspect equipment, wash or replace filters, and identify potential faults.
Experience with all types of air-conditioning, refrigeration, and household appliance systems.
Full working knowledge of all refrigerants and proper handling procedures.
Strong ability to diagnose and repair faults in both high and low voltage electrical circuits.
Skilled in gas and electric welding for HVAC and appliance repair applications.
Competence in diagnosing and repairing major household appliances such as refrigerators, freezers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, and stoves.
Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and duct fabrication to support installations and repairs.
Proven ability to carry out preventive maintenance, including filter replacement, system inspections, and appliance servicing.
Flexibility to work weekends and respond to service calls as required.
Completed apprenticeship or technical school training in refrigeration, air-conditioning.
