The Heavy Equipment Operator position includes, but is not limited to
Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures
Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance
Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers
Ensure company equipment, material, and the worksite are maintained, kept clean, and stored securely. Collect and dispose of scrap and excess materials
Observe distribution of paving material to adjust machine settings or material flow and indicate low spots for workers to add material
Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation.
The position requires
More than 10 years of experience operating Heavy Equipment
Any combination of training and experience that would provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed is qualifying
Knowledge of equipment, techniques, and tools used in fleet maintenance and recycling processing
