Carpenter/ Mason / Drywall Mason

We are looking to hire a skilled Carpenter/Mason /Drywall Mason with knowledge of various carpentry techniques. You will be responsible for the layout, installation, repair, finish, and maintenance of various structures, fixtures, and buildings. Carry out drywall installation and finishing work. Other duties will include designing, cutting, and measuring materials according to a client's requirements. Mason can cut, dress and lay stone, and he is proficient with both modern power tools and traditional hand tools. Masons can expect to work in all weather and with various materials, lift and carry heavy objects, and read and assess technical drawings. Their responsibilities include texturing and polishing blocks of stone, installing dressed stone, mixing cement and mortar, and restoring old and damaged masonry works.

Drywall Mason /Carpenter’s Responsibilities

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.
• Conduct repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
• Compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.

Mason’s Responsibilities

• Maintaining tools and workspaces.
• Cutting, shaping and dressing materials.
• Lifting, carrying and placing prepared blocks;
• Reading and following technical drawings;
• Training apprentices;
• Mixing cement and mortar;
• Restoring old and worn masonry;
