Bartenders must be able to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, manage the bar area, and provide excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with safety and alcohol regulations. Must be able to use the POS system Bartenders manage inventory, restock supplies, and maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glasses, utensils, and bar tools They may also plan drink menus, develop new cocktail recipes, and oversee bar operations, particularly in senior or lead bartender roles. Must be compliance with food safety and sanitation Skills and Qualifications Successful bartenders typically have strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages, mixology, and bar equipment, along with excellent interpersonal and multitasking skills Physical stamina is important due to long periods of standing and lifting heavy items such as cases of liquor once delivered at times. This position requires a high school diploma, relevant certifications such as TIPS or Serv Safe Alcohol and the minimum legal age to serve alcohol Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is often required. A valid Cayman Islands Drivers license would be a bonus.
