Sales clerk in retail/wholesale fashion boutique - qualified candidates should have a keen sense of fashion and design. Duties include: daily opening & closing the shop; greeting & assisting customers; handling all payments, including merchant card machine transactions; running daily bank card batch, reconciling with sales and reporting daily to accountant; managing all inventory (boxes weigh up to 40 lbs, boxes located on shelves requiring you to use ladder to access); unloading new inventory restocking showroom; ironing & steaming clothing; oversight of the daily shop operations; report daily to management. Valid driver's license and own vehicle required to go to various couriers and supply stores. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Email, and knowledge of Canva and all social media platforms a plus. Also, shop clerk will assist with craft design courses offered to the community.
