Gardener

Expert Gardeners is seeking a skilled, dependable, and hardworking Gardener to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial landscapes while upholding high standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism on every project.

Key Responsibilities

• Plant, water, prune, weed, and maintain gardens, lawns, shrubs, trees, and landscaped areas.
• Perform general garden maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, and mulching.
• Identify and treat plant diseases, pests, and weeds using appropriate gardening methods and products.
• Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, and properly secure gardening tools, plants, and materials to maintain a safe work environment.
• Inspect and maintain gardening tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients on-site.
• Assist with urgent or high-priority landscaping and garden maintenance tasks when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in gardening or landscaping, is required.
• Strong knowledge of plants, lawn care, and general gardening practices.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
• Ability to safely operate gardening tools and equipment.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Ability to perform manual labour, including bending, lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary.

Working Hours & Benefits

• Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday - Saturday
• Benefits: Statutory benefits provided
