Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant Cayman Learning Centre & School- SEN School Salary: CI$30,000 per annum Number of Work Hours per week: 45 hours Cayman Learning Centre & School is seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with autism (Level 1), ADHD, learning disabilities, speech and language needs, and related learning differences. Working under the guidance of teachers and the SENCO, the successful candidate will support students academically, socially, emotionally, and with sensory regulation needs within a structured, nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group SEN support
• Implement Learning Support Plans (LSPs)
• Support sensory, SALT, and ABA recommendations
• Use visual supports, structured routines, and positive behaviour strategies
• Assist with literacy, numeracy, executive functioning, and emotional regulation
• Track progress and communicate with staff and families
• Support an inclusive and safe learning environment

Essential Requirements

• 3 years of experience.
• Experience supporting children with SEN
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patient, flexible, organised, and compassionate
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education

Desirable

• SEN qualifications and/ or experience
• ABA, sensory integration, or behaviour support experience
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams
• Additional creative arts experience
