AML & Liquidations Administrator

Purpose of the Role Supporting the OGL Liquidations and AML Team, the postholder will provide comprehensive and confidential services to these teams, ensuring that they and the clients of Ogier Global (Cayman) Limited are fully supported and receive the highest level of client service. The postholder will be responsible for providing administrative support to a portfolio of end-of-life voluntary liquidation and CIMA deregistration matters, as well as a separate portfolio of AML Officer appointments. Key Responsibilities

• Support the AML and Liquidations teams with their portfolios and action requests as required;
• Assist with a small portfolio of voluntary liquidation matters, including drafting of documents and relevant filings;
• Provide regular status updates to the Liquidations and AML Associate Directors and Managers;
• Liaise with the Liquidations and AML Associate Directors and Managers, Ogier attorneys, Ogier Global (Cayman) Limited Corporate Administrators and external Clients on a wide range of client related matters;
• Perform testing, as required, of Investor KYC conducted by Fund administrators;
• Maintain accurate regulatory and statutory records for all matters;
• Absolute devotion to data integrity with attention to detail in all activity, with particular focus on utilizing the systems to their maximum potential to drive efficiency and client service;
• Support Associate Directors and Managers in developing process improvement projects and the ongoing effective use of technology such as automated documentation and e-signatures to deliver the 'Ogier standard' of client service;
• Produce and circulate invoices, fee collection and chasing debtors;
• Reinforce the Ogier Group Vision and using continuous improvement tools to support sustainable, incremental business improvements;
• Actively contribute to a positive firm culture, driving Ogier's vision and demonstrating Ogier values in professional activities and decision making;
• Pro-actively take on additional responsibilities and administration tasks as required by your manager or clients.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience within a legal or financial services environment;
• Willing to work towards ACAMS / ICA qualification;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team;
• Strong knowledge of the MS Office package (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point). Strong working knowledge of Viewpoint, CORIS, CAP and REEFS systems is advantageous;
• Awareness and understanding of the current applicable statutory laws and other related legal and regulatory requirements, compliance regulations and guidance notes including anti-money laundering and know your client regulations;
• Experience in drafting professional correspondence including voluntary liquidation statutory documentation;
• Proactive, responsive, professional and client focused with strong organisational skills and an emphasis on attention to detail;
• Ability to deal with tasks independently and use own initiative;
• Administrative and document management experience;
• Ability to effectively liaise with third parties including clients;
• Experience in working to tight reporting deadlines and meeting demanding client obligations; and
• Ability to adhere to the highest level of confidentiality at all times.
