The Bar Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving drinks, maintaining a clean and safe bar area, and ensuring all bar operations run smoothly during shifts. the ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, responsible with cash, and able tow work in a fasr-paced environment. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Service Greet customers warmly and take drink orders accurately Recommend drinks and specials. Promote upsells Handle customer complaints professionally and quickly
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages Maintain proper stock levels. Report low inventory to management Follow all responsible alcohol service laws. Check IDs when required Set up and break down bar area before and after shifts
Process cash and card payments accurately using POS Participate in cash count with staff members at end of shift Follow key hand-off procedures between staff Ensure no single staff member works 8pm-close shift alone
Keep bar, tables, glassware, and work areas clean and sanitized Dispose of trash, wash glassware, and restock supplies Adhere to health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations
EXPERIENCE: Previous bar/restaurant experience required. Skills: Good communication, math skills for cash handling, EDPM/computer basics and asset Personal: Punctual, honest, team player, able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Evenings, weekends, and public holidays required Environment: Fast-paced, loud, standing for full shift Policy: 2 people on shift at all times. No solo *pm-close shifts
