You will design and deliver teaching programmes tailored to the needs and proficiency levels of learners, establishing clear objectives and structured learning progressions. You will develop and/or select appropriate teaching materials, including textbooks, exercises, games and multimedia resources, to effectively support the teaching and learning process. You will plan and facilitate cultural and social activities related to Spanish and Latin American culture in order to enrich students’ learning experience. You will monitor student performance, assess their progress, and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. You will provide linguistic guidance and respond to questions related to Spanish grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. You will also motivate students to actively participate in lessons and foster a dynamic, engaging and enjoyable learning environment. You will promote immersion in Spanish and Latin American culture through the integration of literature, art, geography and history. In addition, you will demonstrate flexibility by adapting your teaching approach to meet individual student needs and preferences, ensuring a personalized and effective learning experience. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching children; experience in special needs education and knowledge of sign language will be considered an advantage. You will demonstrate fluency in Spanish, both spoken and written, with a strong command of pronunciation, grammar and overall linguistic communication skills. You will possess a solid knowledge of Spanish and Latin American culture, including history, literature and art. You will be highly organized, dedicated, creative and energetic, with the ability to communicate effectively in English. You must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, in order to accommodate students’ schedules, and have access to reliable transportation.
