Be responsible for managing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory work for clients in the areas of investment and hedge funds, mutual funds and insurance. Provide timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations. Maintain continuous interaction with clients and ensure outstanding client service. Build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends and developments. Understand the clients industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends and emerging technical and industry developments.
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, law or a related field A CPA or equivalent internationally recognized accounting certification, Enrolled Agent certification and/or JD/LLM/LPC degree or equivalent preferred; candidates who are in process of completing their professional certification but have yet to become licensed/certified, will also be considered A minimum of eighteen (18) months of relevant tax compliance or tax advisory experience Prior experience within a public accounting or professional services firm is required Broad exposure to federal income taxation and exposure to state and local tax The successful candidates must have strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, an ability to work a flexible schedule as overtime will be required, as well as a dedication to teamwork and integrity within a professional environment.
