Sales Associate – Fragrances and Cosmetics

Kirk Freeport is looking for experienced fragrances and cosmetics sales professionals to join our company. We are looking for someone who is committed to and passionate about beauty, elegance and personal care. Kirk Freepport offers a wide variety of luxury fragrances and premium cosmetic brands. As a Sales Associate, your responsibilities will include assisting clients with purchases, educating them on the products and building out the brands and products offered at Kirk Freeport.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

• Approach and engage with customers in a friendly, professional and courteous manner.
• Offer expert advice on fragrances and/or cosmetics.
• Know the features, advantages and benefits of cosmetics and advise customers on routines and personalized product selection for purchase.
• Demonstrate the products with confidence.
• Closing sales, upselling and cross selling products.
• Ability to clientele and sell in a commission driven environment.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently by operating the POS system.
• Handle customer inquiries, returns, and concerns with care.
• Build relationships and retain customers through exceptional service and follow-up.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and store cleanliness by keeping the merchandise and displays clean, neat and tidy.
• Assist in daily inventory set-up, breakdown and counting,
• Assist in stock control.
• Assist with ad hoc events.
• Attend training courses, brand and company training.
• Be knowledgeable on all store Standard Operating Procedures.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and achieve performance targets.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience is advantageous. Especially in cosmetics, skincare or fragrances.
• Cosmetology or related qualification would be to your advantage.
• Must be a High School graduate. Tertiary qualifications would be to your advantage.
• Portfolio of evidence – previous makeup done, would be an advantage.
• Professional appearance with high levels or integrity and esteemed work ethic.
• Passion for beauty, makeup, skincare and fragrances.
• Outgoing, confident and sales driven.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a customer-focused environment.
• Be dependable with the ability and willingness to work weekends, bank holidays and holiday season.
• Trustworthy, honest and a team player.
