We are seeking an experienced Plumber Helper with a solid foundation in the trade to assist our team with plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs. The ideal candidate has at least three years of hands-on experience, a strong work ethic, and knows how to safely handle the core tools and tasks of the trade.
Installation Support: Assist with the layout and installation of water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures (sinks, toilets, water heaters) according to blueprints or layouts. Maintenance & Repairs: Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on existing piping networks, clearing blockages and replacing faulty components. Site Preparation: Assemble, cut, and thread pipes using hand and power tools. Ensure the workspace is safe, clean, and stocked with necessary materials. Team Collaboration: Work directly under the guidance of licensed plumbers, strictly adhering to building codes and safety regulations.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on plumbing experience. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of basic plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance procedures. Tools: Proficiency with basic plumbing tools (pipe cutters, wrenches, threaders). Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in tight spaces, and handle the physical demands of construction or service environments. Licensing: Possession of a Cayman Islands Government (CIG) Plumber’s Licence is a distinct advantage. Work Condition: Work Outside/ Digging Trenches/ Have a car to work remotely
