AC Technician Helper

AC Tech Air Duct Cleaning is seeking an experienced and dependable AC Technician Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems and will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist AC Technicians with the installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of residential and commercial air conditioning systems.
• Support diagnostic and troubleshooting activities by preparing tools, equipment, and materials required for service calls.
• Assist with the cleaning, servicing, and maintenance of air conditioning units, ductwork, ventilation systems, and related components.
• Load, unload, transport, and organize equipment and materials at job sites.
• Prepare work areas and ensure all tools and materials are readily available for efficient project completion.
• Assist with the installation of ducting, insulation, condensate drains, and other HVAC system components.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment during and after service or installation projects.
• Represent the company professionally while working at customer locations.
• Assist with emergency service calls and high-priority projects as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an AC Technician Helper or in a similar air conditioning, HVAC, or mechanical support role.
• Familiarity with air conditioning systems, tools, materials, and basic installation and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and equipment commonly used in the HVAC industry.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, climbing, kneeling, bending, and working in confined spaces.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Valid driver's licence is considered an asset.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when operational needs require.

Working Hours & Benefits

• Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Saturday
• Benefits: Statutory benefits provided
