PAINTER

Employer: ProStars Ltd. Location: Grand Cayman Industry: Construction (Residential & Commercial) About the Role ProStars Ltd. is seeking an experienced Painter to join our client site teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and finishing works on residential and commercial construction projects, ensuring excellent workmanship and attention to detail. Key Duties & Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, scraping, patching, priming, and sealing. Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Mix and match paints to achieve the required colors and finishes. Ensure all painted surfaces meet quality standards and project specifications. Perform minor drywall repairs, caulking, and surface touch-ups as needed. Protect surrounding areas, fixtures, and fittings during painting works. Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition. Follow all site safety procedures and company policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. Specific Trade Requirements Strong knowledge of interior and exterior painting techniques. Experience with surface preparation, finishing compounds, and coating applications. Familiarity with various paint types, sealants, and protective coatings for different surfaces and environments. Requirements Minimum 3–4 years of proven experience as a Painter in construction or maintenance environments. Skilled in interior and exterior painting, finishing, and touch-up work. Physically fit and able to work at heights, on scaffolding, and in both indoor and outdoor conditions. Good attention to detail and ability to deliver consistent, high-quality finishes. Reliable, punctual, and committed to workmanship standards. Own tools and reliable transportation preferred. Clean Police Clearance required. Two (2) recent reference letters required. Education Requirement High School Diploma or equivalent. Working Hours Standard 45 hours per week. Evening, weekend, and overtime work may be required depending on project needs.
