RESERVATIONS CLERK/BUS DRIVER

Capt. Marvin’s Watersports Ltd T/A Anna’s Watersports is looking for a detail-oriented reservations clerk/bus driver to assist our customers with their booking needs and safely transport goods and passengers. Duties;

• Process all reservation requests from customers.
• Provide clerical support to the reservation staff.
• Change or cancel reservations at the request of customers.
• Answer and respond to customers on reservation inquiries.
• Maintain and manage a logbook for reservation activities.
• Ensure fulfillment of the needs and requirements of clients who obtained prior reservations.
• Instruct and communicate to customers on corporate policies and regulations.
• Ensure comfort to customers through reservation services.
• Answer phones and greet clients warmly.
• Heavy email/online reservation correspondence;
• Assist with invoicing, POS adjustments, and QuickBooks.
• Perform beginning-shift vehicle inspections before departure.
• Complete the bus route on schedule while stopping at all stops.
• Assist the disabled and elderly with embarking and disembarking.
• Help with stowing luggage and bicycles.
• Safely transport goods and passengers.
• Report all mechanical issues to the service manager immediately.
• Obey all traffic laws.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary bus at all times.

Applicant will be picking up guests and transporting them to and from the airport, and also transporting guests to other locations on the island, such as attractions and restaurants. Must be at least 25 years of age due to insurance requirements and have held a valid driver's license for at least 5 years in the category of vehicle being hired to drive.

Qualifications

Successful applicants should know the island and its attractions. Have a valid CI Group 3 or 4 driver’s license. Successful applicants will have to make an application through our company to the Public Transport Board (PTB) to be able to drive a tour bus. The PTB application process includes: fitness to drive medical exam with a drug test, police and traffic records, and proof of a Valid CI Group 3 or greater driver's license. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of various word-processing applications. Excellent time management skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position. Must be well organized and willing to extend work time. Must be able to work on weekends and holidays and split shifts. Can be able to drive. Must be well organized and willing to work 7:30-5:00 PM six days a week. With a Clean Police record.
