Job Description JOB TITLE: Food & Beverage Server

Position Summary

The Food & Beverage Server is responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience by delivering prompt, welcoming, and attentive service. This role ensures customer satisfaction by accurately taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. Key Responsibilities Customer Service

• Greet guests warmly and create a positive dining experience.
• Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations as needed.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.

Service Delivery

• Serve food and beverages in a timely, professional manner.
• Monitor customer needs throughout their visit and respond promptly to requests.
• Ensure all orders meet quality and presentation standards.

Operations & Cleanliness

• Set up, clean, and maintain dining areas, tables, and service stations.
• Follow proper sanitation, food handling, and safety procedures.
• Assist in opening and closing duties as assigned.

Collaboration

• Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth service.
• Communicate effectively regarding guest needs, special requests, or issues.

Cash Handling

• Present bills, process payments accurately, and handle cash and credit transactions responsibly

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred but not always required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and cash-handling abilities.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcohol (where applicable).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift trays, plates, and supplies (typically up to 25 lbs).
