Job Description

Manage a portfolio of hospitality properties to optimize asset value and achieve the specific ownership investment objectives of meeting our customer’s needs and maximizing long term profitability Track and evaluate property level trends in all areas Develop and implement short, medium and long-term strategies for each asset in the portfolio Deliver accurately and timely reports on portfolio performance and strategic initiatives Interact proactively and collaboratively with hotel management to develop and deliver property level strategic initiatives, budgets, financial projection models, goals, key performance indicators, marketing plans and capital requirements Undertake analysis to consistently identify opportunities to improve performance Maintain a thorough understanding of the industry and all factors affecting markets impacting portfolio properties including changes in demographics and supply and demand Prepare business cases, investment summaries and make recommendations

DO YOU HAVE

Experience of hotel asset management required including in-depth knowledge in hotel operations, marketing, financial analysis and benchmarking, budgeting, forecasting, capital expenditure planning and major contract negotiations 20+ years of experience in the Hospitality Industry, having worked in international destinations including the Caribbean, Europe, and the Americas, with at least 5 years at a level of Executive Manager or above Solid experience in Asset Management with luxury hotel brands such as Four Seasons, The Ritz-Carlton, Hilton and IHG required. Proven track record of maintaining strong and productive relationships with these brands Minimum 5 years’ experience as General Manager of branded hotels in major markets with at least 1,000+ rooms, required Experience working in senior management at a luxury resort and experience working in senior management at a Cayman Islands hotel, required Proven track record in hotel openings, including planning, programming, design, and negotiation of management and/or franchise agreements A proven track record in asset value creation in complex hospitality settings Demonstrated ability to create value through identifying opportunities and implementing specific strategies and initiatives Proven track record of managing F&B operations, including restaurants, beach clubs, and retail business Deep understanding of the Forbes Travel rating system. Proven track record of supporting properties to achieve the Forbes Travel 5-Star award in the Cayman Islands and other jurisdictions in the Caribbean, as well as strong knowledge of the 50 Best Awards with proven track record of recognitions achieved Strong knowledge of Beach Club Operation as well as rental program for Residences Proven track record of developing a new hotel, with active participation in the design, programing, F&B spaces concepting and back of the house set up required Strong experience managing resorts in other luxury Caribbean Islands (Island of Anguilla preferred) Strong experience negotiating and managing Hotel Management and Franchise Agreement with a minimum of three major hotel operators A strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, book and cash flow reporting Strong network within the hospitality industry, with established connections to major hotel operators', CEOs, regional teams, and corporate offices as well as key luxury consortia’s owners A Bachelor’s degree in hotel management, preferred Advanced Excel, financial modelling and business analysis skills
