Inventory Control Supervisor

Tortuga Cayman Ltd., we are accepting applications for the above position. Preference will be given to Caymanians/PR Status Holders, but open to all suitably qualified applicants. In the Inventory Control Supervisor role, you will be responsible for all the strategic planning, forecasting, holdings and movement of Inventory within the organization. This individual will oversee the overall procurement and logistic needs for the business, including but not limited to receiving, issuing and delivering of the coordinating of overseas containers, reconciling and physical controls of inventory. The position will work directly with the company’s Operations supervisor while liaising and supervising other critical employees. Some specific duties include but are not limited to:

• Creating quarterly strategic plans and forecasts to manage all company inventory requirements.
• Identifying local and international vendors capable of supplying the company with needed materials, thus requiring one to have and be able to enhance diverse corporate relationships.
• Daily/Weekly production planning and execution.
• Supervising monthly inventory control processes, providing for variances and reconciliation where necessary. Performing periodic and monthly stock-counts.
• Employee will be required to work a full 45-hour work week, including but not limited to holidays and weekends as and if needed.

Qualification & Experience

• The preferred candidate should hold a degree or have a qualification in a related field.
• The candidate in this role must possess a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in Inventory and Supply chain management and operations.
• Successful candidate will need prior experience in a supervisory role.
• Must Demonstrate good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Has experience working with Excel spreadsheets and experience with SAP software systems is essential.
• Must be in good physical condition able to lift and move heavy items.
• Must have valid driver's license with reliable transportation/vehicle.
• Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively.

Salary will be between CI$33,000 - CI$36,000 annually, based on qualifications, knowledge and experience. Benefits are in accordance with Cayman Islands Labor Law.
