General Store Helper

Dalisco Supply is a convenience and grocery store seeking an experienced, reliable, and self-motivated General Store Helper to assist with daily store operations. The successful candidate must have initiative, work efficiently with minimal supervision, and be comfortable working in a busy retail environment. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with opening, daily setup, and general store cleanup.
• Assist with POS system.
• Clean and organize shelves, displays, refrigerators, storage areas, and other store areas.
• Receive, move, sort, and stock grocery and convenience-store merchandise.
• Replenish shelves and displays throughout the workday.
• Price and label merchandise accurately.
• Check merchandise for expiry dates, damaged packaging, and product condition.
• Rotate stock using appropriate stock-rotation procedures.
• Assist with receiving and offloading deliveries.
• Maintain organized storage and stock areas.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide courteous customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the store.
• Identify tasks that need attention and complete routine duties without requiring constant supervision.
• Follow store procedures, pricing requirements, food-handling practices, and operational instructions.
• Perform other reasonable duties necessary for the efficient operation of the store.

Work Schedule Requirements

• Full-time position.
• Must be flexible with working hours according to operational requirements.
• Must be available to work weekends and public holidays when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–4 years of retail experience, preferably in a grocery, convenience-store, supermarket, or similar retail environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must demonstrate initiative and be able to identify and complete required tasks without constant direction.
• Experience with stocking, merchandising, pricing, and stock rotation.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy retail environment.
• Physically capable of lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, walking, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Friendly and professional attitude when dealing with customers.
