Coralstone Construction is seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair the company’s fleet of construction machinery, vehicles, and small equipment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all equipment remains safe, reliable, and fully operational to support project timelines and site productivity. Requirements include but are not limited to: Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems on heavy construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, rollers, dump trucks, and generators. Perform routine preventative maintenance including oil changes, lubrication, filter replacement, and system checks. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using diagnostic tools and technical manuals. Disassemble, repair, and reassemble engines, transmissions, hydraulic pumps, and other components. Carry out repairs both in the workshop and at active construction sites as required. Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and parts inventory. Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe. Assist operators in identifying mechanical issues and provide guidance on proper equipment use. In addition to Mechanic duties, this role will also be required to fulfill Heavy Equipment Operator duties. These duties include but are not limited to: Operate various pieces of large heavy equipment including tower crane in compliance with the company’s operating safety policies and procedures. Ensure proper operation of equipment by performing regular checks on their functionality. Regularly clean equipment to preserve its quality and functionality. Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers. Heavy equipment operating handling skills test will be a part of the application process. Must have at least 10 years experience as a certified Mechanic and Heavy Equipment Operator. Must have a clean Driver’s License.
