Hydes & Sons Limited T/A Hydes & Sons, Screen and Metal Repairs, are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for metal fabrication and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Operate metal fabrication machinery and tools to produce high-quality metal products. Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to determine appropriate fabrication methods. Set up and maintain metal fabrication equipment and tools. Measure and cut metal to specified dimensions using hand and power tools. Join metal parts using welding, brazing, or soldering techniques. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and customer specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Experience in welding, brazing, or soldering techniques Experience with sheet metal forming techniques such as folding, rolling, and punching. High school diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of experience in metal fabrication. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics. Proficient in operating metal fabrication machinery and tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. With a Clean Police record.
