Install, service, and repair residential and commercial air conditioning systems. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on A/C units and related equipment. Replace or repair defective components such as motors, thermostats, compressors, fans, and filters. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local building codes. Recharge refrigerants and test systems for leaks. Clean and adjust system components to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Communicate clearly with clients regarding work completed and any additional repairs or maintenance required. Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used. Provide basic support and repairs on related household or commercial appliances when required. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and in good working condition. Ensure all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and within required timelines.
Minimum of nine (9) to ten (10) years of experience in air conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair. Proven experience working with both residential and commercial A/C systems. Certification or technical training in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration would be an asset. Knowledge of refrigerant handling, leak detection, and system diagnostics. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and service instructions. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces or at heights when necessary. Valid driver's license would be an advantage. Must be skilled, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
