CARPENTER/ MASON

T/A StarPro Recruitment Agency Location: Grand Cayman Industry: Construction (Residential & Commercial) About the Role ProStars Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter / Mason to join our client site teams. The successful candidate will be highly competent in both masonry and carpentry works and capable of delivering high-quality finishes on residential and commercial construction projects. Key Duties & Responsibilities Carry out general masonry and carpentry works, including blockwork, plastering, patching, rendering, and concrete repairs. Mix and apply mortar, cement, and finishing compounds as required. Ensure all surfaces are properly aligned, leveled, and finished to specification. Perform framing, trimming, and general carpentry duties. Read and accurately interpret construction plans and drawings. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. Follow all site safety procedures and company policies. Ensure quality workmanship across all installations and finishes. Specific Trade Requirements Strong practical knowledge of masonry and carpentry techniques. Proven experience with plaster work for both structural and aesthetic applications. Proficient in the use of finishing compounds, trowel techniques, and surface preparation methods. Requirements Minimum 3–4 years of proven experience in Masonry and Carpentry. Skilled in plastering, rendering, block laying, and mudding. Physically fit and able to work in both interior and exterior environments. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately. Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship. Own tools and reliable transportation preferred. Clean Police Clearance required. Two (2) recent reference letters required. Education Requirement High School Diploma or equivalent. Working Hours Standard 45 hours per week.
