Boat Operator

Anchor Tours: We are seeking a skilled and professional Boat Operator to lead our marine excursions and ensure the safe, smooth, and efficient operation of our vessels. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for boating, and extensive experience in marine transportation and activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and navigate the vessel in accordance with all applicable local regulations and company policies
• Ensure the safety of all passengers and crew at all times
• Maintain full compliance with local maritime laws and regulations
• Supervise and manage vessel crew, including scheduling, training, and performance management
• Oversee all aspects of vessel maintenance and repairs, including coordinating service and managing supplies
• Provide clear and professional communication to passengers and crew
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation as required by law

Qualifications

• Valid captain’s license (e.g., USCG Master License or equivalent) a plus or 2 years of proven experience operating commercial or charter vessels 44’ to 50’
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• In-depth knowledge of marine safety procedures and regulations
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations
