Another Chance (Thrift Shop), is a retailer that sells high-end new and used clothing, kitchen wares, bedding, shoes, toys, etc. The business has rapidly grown over the years, and it now has four locations in the Cayman Islands. The shops always have a “sale event” and are open six days a week until 7 p.m. Another Chance Thrift Shop is seeking a reliable Warehouse Helper to perform the following duties: Receive and inspect incoming merchandise to ensure it is in good condition. Verify received items by counting and weighing them. Retrieve merchandise from storage based on delivery or shipping orders. Pack and label merchandise for delivery or shipment. Load and move outgoing merchandise to the designated delivery area. Secure merchandise in delivery vehicles to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock. Organize and store merchandise according to company procedures. Keep the warehouse clean and orderly by performing general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting. Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned by the supervisor. Working Conditions Work is performed in a warehouse environment. Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday. May involve lifting and carrying heavy items. Requires the safe use of warehouse equipment and tools. Exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise may occur. Must follow all company health and safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). May be required to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays based on business needs.
