Maitre D’

We are seeking someone to join our team as a Maitre D’. Their responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Greet guests warmly and ensure they are comfortably seated.
• Confirm and manage reservations, adjusting seating arrangements as needed.
• Escort guests to their tables and ensure their dining experience begins positively.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of waitstaff, including waiters, waitresses, and wine stewards.
• Ensure staff is properly trained, well-presented, and knowledgeable about the menu and service standards.
• Organize and lead pre-service meetings to inform staff about specials, menu changes, and service expectations
• Ensure clear communication between the front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
• Resolve any service issues or conflicts promptly to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
• Oversee bill checking, ensuring accuracy and proper charges.
• Train new staff members on restaurant policies, procedures, and standards.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of food, beverage, and wine service.
• Ability to manage guest relations and resolve conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
