Health & Wellness Representative

Job Title: Health & Wellness Representative Summary The functions of this role will include but not be limited to the following duties and responsibilities:

• Providing exceptional customer service, being attentive to the customers’ needs at all times.
• Feedback customer experience comments, improvements, and ideas on a regular basis.
• Actively look for opportunities to upsell additional products through understanding the customer needs by engaging and active listening.
• Respond to customer queries through a variety of mediums including in person, phone, and messages.
• Monitoring of online ordering platforms, accurately inputting orders into POS and packaging items in accordance with company standards
• Keep an accurate record of customer requests using the waitlist. Contact customers on the waitlist on a timely basis
• Know and understand IN product lines, including ingredients, benefits, and contraindications
• Remain up to date with current health and wellness information. Actively research ingredients and products on a regular basis, ensuring we provide informed suggestions for customers, matching products/ingredients to their request.
• Keep store area clean and tidy throughout the workday, including dusting & wiping shelves, sweeping, and mopping floors/bathrooms
• Maintain merchandising standards (e.g. no gaps, straight rows, pull product forward, restocking) throughout the work day
• Taking inventory of paper products, cleaning products and variety of other supplies
• Take an active role in inventory including monitoring inventory levels and completing inventory counts
• Take an active role in deliveries including verifying merchandise received in deliveries, alerting leadership to damaged and/or missing items, maintaining a tidy store environment whilst working through stock
• Take an active role in the expired products process, including checking, identification, and mark downs
• Maintain stock of operational supplies including credit card rolls, printer rolls, and stationery as needed
• Complete end of day financial process and all associated procedures
• Feature in social media as required
• Work seamlessly with all IN employees including other retail teams, café team and management
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Additional duties may be assigned in line with business operation

The incumbent must have the following

• Minimum 2+ yrs. experience working within a retail environment.
• Minimum 1+ yr working with inventory and deliveries
• Knowledgeable regarding supplements, health foods and an overall healthy lifestyle
• Able to pass basic knowledge review on health & wellness key areas
• Relevant qualifications are preferred and considered an asset
• Flexible to work across a multitude of shift times including morning, evenings, weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and all bank holidays
• Polite, welcoming, friendly, and courteous manner
• Able to handle all interactions with colleagues and customers in a professional manner.
• Able to use up to date technology including tablets, POS, WhatsApp, Microsoft Excel and online ordering platforms
• Able to function well in a fast paced, busy environment
• Flexible and capable of working in a variety of tasks when required (cash handling, answering telephone, assisting customers, cleaning, inventory) and multitasking
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
• Physical ability to work on feet for minimum of 8 hours and perform variety of physical tasks including: assisting with shipment boxes, bending & lift to move stock etc.

Compensation package on offer for the role includes an hourly salary of CI$10 – CI$12. Additional benefits include company discount, vacation, health insurance, pension and all statutory benefits required under the Cayman Islands Labour Act.
