This job is a multi-purpose position that does includes Airline Agent/Porter/Sales Clerk. Descriptions of each follow below:
Assist passengers with inquiries regarding arrivals and departures. Check in passengers, assign seats, and issue tickets. Issue boarding passes and baggage tags. Advise passengers on baggage allowances and restrictions. Weigh baggage and collect excess baggage charges where applicable. Assist passengers requiring special assistance, including wheelchair services and unaccompanied minors. Make boarding, arrival, and gate announcements. Process cash, credit card, and personal cheque transactions accurately and complete airline close-out procedures. Provide courteous and professional customer service both in person and over the telephone. Operate airline reservation and check-in computer systems. Work independently with minimal supervision. Stand for extended periods (4–5 hours at a time). Maintain punctuality and reliable attendance.
Safely escort wheelchair-bound passengers to and from incoming and outgoing flights at Owen Roberts International Airport, Grand Cayman. Assist passengers with baggage handling and other porter-related services. Provide courteous, professional, and efficient customer service to all passengers. Ensure passenger safety and comfort while transporting them throughout the airport. Maintain airport equipment, including wheelchairs, in a clean and serviceable condition. Comply with all airport safety, security, and company policies and procedures. Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the company's products, services, and policies. Greet customers and visitors in a warm, energetic, courteous, and professional manner, ensuring a pleasant and efficient customer experience. Listen attentively to customer requests and provide appropriate advice and product recommendations. Process customer orders for Concrete, Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF), Steel Stud products, and Bulk Water using QuickBooks. Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries by telephone, email, and in person. Handle inbound calls, dispatch calls as required, record and communicate messages accurately, return customer calls, and monitor company voicemail regularly. Accept and process customer and tenant payments in accordance with company procedures. Prepare daily sales reports and perform end-of-day cash balancing and deposit reconciliation. Maintain accurate records of all sales transactions and customer accounts. Calculate material quantities and prepare quotations and sales orders. Manage and dispatch orders to the delivery team. Assist with accounts receivable by following up with customers regarding outstanding balances. Assist in reviewing departmental work schedules and identifying discrepancies. Liaise with management regarding customer concerns, operational issues, and follow-up actions. Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information. Perform any other duties assigned by the Directors, Supervisor, or Management.
