Labourer/Heavy Equipment Operator

KDA Construction is seeking an experienced Labourer / Heavy Equipment Operator to support a variety of construction projects. The successful candidate will have strong equipment operating skills, construction site experience, and a commitment to safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, backhoes, and other machinery as required.
• Perform general labour duties to support construction activities.
• Load, unload, transport, and secure construction materials and equipment.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance requirements.
• Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and cleanup.
• Follow project specifications and site safety requirements.
• Work closely with supervisors and crew members to ensure project efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and inspections.
• Ensure machinery is operated safely and responsibly at all times.
• Assist with additional construction tasks as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment.
• Relevant operator certifications and licenses preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures.
• Ability to perform physical labour when equipment operation is not required.
• Experience with excavation, grading, and site preparation work.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.

Working Hours & Benefits
