Set up function rooms per Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), including tables, chairs, staging, linens, décor, and equipment. Maintain cleanliness of banquet rooms, pre-function areas, storage rooms, and service corridors Inspect public and event areas for cleanliness, safety, and presentation; report maintenance issues or hazards to the supervisor. Safely move, store, and care for banquet equipment Take regular inventory of banquet supplies and notify management of shortages or damages. Assist banquet servers, AV technicians, and other departments during events as needed. Support projects by preparing spaces, assisting with installations, and ensuring minimal impact on guest areas. Perform general maintenance to guest rooms and public arear. Follow all hotel safety, security, and sanitation policies; use proper lifting techniques and personal protective equipment where required. Be familiar with emergency exits, fire extinguishers, and safety procedures for event spaces. Other related duties as assigned by the department manager.
Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience High School diploma or equivalent Physically capable of performing all essential duties of the role, including prolonged periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and reaching, as well as safely pushing, pulling, and lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be comfortable working a flexible schedule, including working outside of normal business hours (i.e. evenings, weekends and public holidays, as needed) May be exposed to a noisy, humid, and hot environment.
