About the role Tranel Group is seeking a highly skilled Drywall Finisher/Painter to join our team, focused on delivering clean, high-end finishes across residential and commercial projects. This role is for a professional who can take surfaces from rough stage to final finish—from taping and Level 5 drywall to precision painting and spray applications. We’re looking for someone who works with consistency, attention to detail, and pride in the final product. Key Responsibilities

• Execute drywall installation and finishing to Level 5 standards
• Tape, mud, skim, sand, and repair surfaces to achieve smooth, paint-ready finishes
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, priming, and masking
• Apply paint using brush, roller, and spray equipment to a high standard
• Perform spray applications on walls, ceilings, and millwork as required
• Mix and match paints to ensure consistent color and finish quality
• Identify and correct imperfections prior to final finishes
• Maintain clean lines, proper protection, and attention to detail throughout
• Coordinate with site teams to meet project timelines and quality expectations
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized at all times

Years of experience: 5+ years in drywall finishing and painting Requirements

• 5+ years of experience of drywall finishing and painting in construction with a general contractor
• Proven experience in delivering high quality residential, commercial and hospitality projects. Interior and exterior finishes. Ground up build through to completion.
• Strong capability in Level 5 drywall finishing and surface preparation
• Proficient with drywall tools, equipment, and finishing techniques
• Experience with spray painting, including fine finishes and millwork
• Solid understanding of surface preparation (cleaning, sanding, priming)
• Ability to measure, mix, and apply paints for consistent results
• High attention to detail and commitment to clean, precise workmanship
• Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and standards
• Reliable, organized, and accountable for quality of work
• Caribbean/island experience is an asset
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Must be able to lift heavy items/materials
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to job sites
