Attending initial sales meetings and meeting the client Determining a client’s business requirements and whether the products being considered are suitable Decide whether the software or hardware needs adapting to meet the client’s needs Answering any technical questions the client might have Presenting your findings to a technical team to act on, and then to the client Additional Duties and Responsibilities: • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively • Multitasking is very important • Business awareness: specific knowledge of the client and how IT relates to their business strategy and goals • Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities • Responsible for entering time and expenses in our PSA (ticketing) software in a timely fashion • Work through project tickets and phases as assigned by our Service Delivery Manager • Rotating after hours calls, and on call weekends. • Must be able to arrive to work on time Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. This is not an entry-level position - a solid knowledge of IP/LAN/WAN as well as hardware is REQUIRED. • Professional IT Certifications and/or College Degree, such as: Microsoft MCP, MCSA, or MCSE, or equivalent college degree • Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and client-care • Strong Network Skills - IP subnetting / switching / VLAN • Service awareness of all organization's key IT services for which support is being provided • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services • Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment • MSP experience a plus We offer a competitive salary plus benefits, pension, and relocation (if needed) which will be commensurate with the applicant's level of skills and experience.
