The role and responsibilities: The successful candidate will be required to provide support to senior management and audit or advisory services to clients in various industry sectors. Within audit, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management and/or of the audit engagement in the field, and the supervision and training of less experienced audit staff in the firm. Within advisory, responsibilities will primarily be in the areas of restructuring and liquidation cases, including both voluntary and Court appointments, assisting in forensic accounting, complex and lengthy litigation issues in several jurisdictions, and supervising less experienced advisory staff in their work. Qualifications: Applicants for the Supervisor/Assistant Manager position must hold an internationally recognized professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, etc.) OR must have successfully completed all courses and examinations required for attainment of a recognized professional accounting designation, and have attained at least two years relevant experience in either external audit or advisory services, preferably within the financial services industry OR must have worked at a comparable level with an international affiliate office of KPMG for at least two years AND must have exposure to IFRS and/or US GAAP.
