Carpenter - Duties and Responsibilities Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other building materials. Build, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, roofs, doors, and windows. Read and follow construction drawings and specifications. Install cabinets, fixtures, and other wooden components. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ensure work is level, accurate, and meets quality standards. Repair or replace damaged wooden structures and fixtures. Inspect completed work and make necessary adjustments. Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and work areas. Follow workplace safety procedures and wear protective equipment. Work with other construction team members to complete projects. Perform other carpentry-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
