N & S is now hiring a skilled Duc Installer to join our team. Duties and Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and HVAC layout plans Measure, cut, assemble, and install ductwork (sheet metal, flexible, or fiberglass) Install air distribution components, including diffusers, grilles, dampers, and registers Seal, insulate, and secure ducts to prevent air leakage and ensure energy efficiency Modify existing duct systems to improve airflow or accommodate renovations Use hand and power tools safely and correctly (snips, drills, shears, lifts, etc.) Ensure installations comply with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications Test duct systems for leaks, airflow, and proper operation Coordinate with HVAC technicians, supervisors, and other trades on-site Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Identify and report installation issues or material defects Perform repairs and replacements on damaged or worn duct systems
