Fund Accountant

Job title: Fund Accountant The Fund Accountant will work alongside the CEO of the fund and will be responsible for the daily position management and reporting requirements for the fund.

Specific tasks as follows

• Monitoring the funds live risk exposure and profit & loss.
• Reconciling firm wide positions on a semi-live basis.
• Booking all trades and associated expenses to the fund each day.
• Ensure trades settle on time
• Valuing positions and running the daily profit & loss.
• Reporting to all stakeholders daily.
• Post trade reconciliation.
• Dealing directly with Prime Brokers and Execution Brokers daily.
• Opportunity for the role to evolve over time

The candidate will be proficient in the following

• CA/CPA qualified or equivalent.
• 6+ years PQE in the industry
• SQL experience required
• Intermediate to advanced excel and general computer skills
• Ability to work and problem solve under time pressure
• Knowledge of Cayman fund regulation and fund structures
• Experience in share settlements within global equity markets, particularly within Asia is preferred
• Experience in quantitative high frequency and algorithmic based trading essential
• Experience in monitoring fund liquidity and margin requirements
