Sales Representative ( Wines)

We are accepting applications for the following position

SALES REPRESENTATIVE ( WINES)

The Sales Representative-Wine is primarily responsible for sales and marketing activity within the Wine wholesale division.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new business opportunities.
• Focus primarily on wine sales, while also managing beer, spirits, and non alcoholic sales within assigned accounts.
• Maintain constant communication with operations to ensure special promotions and wine by the glass listings are supported by proper inventory levels.
• Conduct quarterly account audits to identify opportunities and areas of weakness.
• Complete weekly action reports for assigned accounts and submit them to the Sales Manager.
• Track and report total sales and new business generated.
• Provide client trainings, tastings, wine dinners, events, and brand activations.
• Assist in developing private client wine sales and fostering corporate relationships.
• Increase points of distribution across all brands.
• Achieve quarterly sales targets.
• Develop and grow Cayman Distributor brands.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and accounts.
• Conduct promotions and organize events on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with the Sales Team to ensure brand strategy is effectively translated into marketplace activities that drive sales and profitability.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of five (5) years proven experience developing wine and spirits brands
• WSET 2 level certification required (Wine & Spirit Education Training level 2)
• Possess a strong marketing background with demonstrable experience managing large-scale promotional events from start to finish
• An excellent understanding of Cayman Islands market as related to wine/spirits including customer trends both locally and globally
• Excellent customer service relationships and communication skills
• Comfortable with presenting tasting seminars and public speaking
• Strong working knowledge of all major MS Office programs
• Ability to work long and often unsociable hours without immediate supervision
• Must be willing to work late shifts, evening, weekends and public holidays when needed
• Must have a valid driver’s license
