Managing day-to-day finance and accounting operations including journal entries, general ledger, trial balance and payroll.
Preparation of monthly and yearly consolidated financial statements.
Coordinating and preparing budgets and forecasts, and other financial reports.
Ensuring that all inventory registers are maintained and routinely reconciled with the General Ledger.
Organizing financial data into useable information and maintain updated records.
Assisting with preparation of audit schedules and statutory accounts under IFRS.
Tracking the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
An internationally recognized accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, CA etc).
5+ years of experience in a similar capacity.
3 years in a supervisory level is advantageous.
Audit background would be advantageous.
Knowledge and experience with the application of generally accepted accounting and internal control principles (GAAP), and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
