MASON HELPER

Mason Helper Responsibilities

• Assisting masons by performing basic tasks such as the handling of masonry

materials (brick, block, mortar, stone)

• Follow directions and stay on task to ensure smooth workflow;
• Assist in assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolds, ramps and barricades

required at construction site;

• Apply grout to fill gaps in surface, using grouting trowels;
• Clean the sites by removing debris and prepare it for next level work;
• Remove hazardous materials;
• Maintain tools and equipment;
• Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt;

Loading, unloading and carry building materials to appropriate locations on the site;

• Assist in using the tools of trade including, but not limited to, tape measure,

laser level and suction cups;

• Perform general duties, stacking tools and materials and parts assembly.
