Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and execution driven leader to serve as Regional Strategic Head of Strategic Commercial Projects is responsible for orchestrating the successful planning and execution of complex, high‑value commercial engagements. This role partners closely with Sales, Product, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure large strategic deals are scoped accurately and governed effectively. The ideal candidate brings strong program management discipline, financial skills, executive presence, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while driving clarity, alignment, and measurable outcomes.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

  • Lead strategic commercial project planning for large, multi‑million‑dollar deals from initial scoping through contract execution.
  • Lead the Deal Review Board process.
  • Establish project governance structures, including workstreams, RACI, decision frameworks, and risk management plans.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional alignment across Sales, Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Legal.
  • Ensure deal requirements, timelines and dependencies are clearly defined and documented.
  • Serve as the primary program lead for executive updates, steering committees, and client‑facing project reviews.
  • Translate complex issues into clear, concise insights for senior leadership.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, ensuring transparency and confidence in delivery.
  • Partner with Finance and Sales to validate deal economics, pricing assumptions, and profitability models.
  • Support contract negotiations by ensuring operational feasibility and alignment with delivery capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline large‑deal processes, templates, and governance models.
  • Contribute to playbooks, best practices, and repeatable frameworks for future large‑deal execution.
  • Champion continuous improvement, operational excellence, and cross‑functional collaboration

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Studies or a related field.
  • Recognized Accounting qualification.
  • 5+ years of experience in Commercial and/or Finance Operations in the IT/Telecommunications sector.
