Job Description

Voltech Ltd. is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cable Installer (Low Voltage) to join our team. We are looking for a motivated individual who is committed to safety, efficiency and delivering high-quality workmanship on every project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with installation, routing, and termination of low-voltage cabling systems (e.g., data, telecom, security, and audiovisual)
  • Pull, label, and organize cables according to project specifications and industry standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Load, unload, and properly handle materials and equipment to prevent damage or safety hazards
  • Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, cable supports, and safety equipment
  • Support testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of installed cable systems
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas during and after installations
  • Follow all safety procedures and low-voltage installation guidelines
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth project execution
  • Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients on-site
  • Assist with urgent or high-priority installation or repair jobs as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in low-voltage cable installation
  • Basic knowledge of structured cabling systems and installation practices
  • Ability to work in ceilings, crawl spaces, and on ladders
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety practices
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Ability to perform manual labour, including climbing, bending and lifting
  • Reliable, punctual and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when needed

Working Hours & Benefits

  • Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday - Saturday
  • Benefits: Statutory benefits provided
