Job Opportunity: Carpenter Employer: MAUVA SIMMONDS T/A TOP PERFORMANCE CONSTRUCTION & MAINTENANCE Role Summary & Duties We are seeking a highly skilled and precise Carpenter to join our active construction and maintenance team. You will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing wooden structures and fixtures to the highest standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to specifications. Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes. Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, molding, cabinetry, and hardware. Inspect, repair, and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures. Working Conditions & Requirements Experience: A strict minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in carpentry. Environment: The role requires working at various current job sites, encompassing both indoor and outdoor locations. Physical stamina, heavy lifting, and adaptability to varying site conditions are required. Compensation & Benefits Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Wage: $14.00 per hour minimum. Benefits: Health Insurance, Pension, and Vacation time provided in full compliance with the Labor Law of the Cayman Islands.
