Thatch and Barrel Restaurant is seeking a line cook that will prepare meals and follow establishment recipes. Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures. Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment. The candidate is required to have 3-4 years of kitchen experience in a food preparation role. Formal training or certifications are ideal, but demonstration of familiarity can also be considered. The location is at Pedro St. James in Savannah, and not on a bus route, so candidate should have reliable transportation. Days and Hours include weekends and evenings. While typical restaurant hours are 10-10 during weekdays, or until midnight or 1am on weekends, at times events can require variations or later hours, given the breakdown required for some events. References and clean background check will be required. Only Caymanian and those with right to work will be considered.
