On behalf of our client Cleaning Connection Ltd., we are accepting applications for the above position.
General Duties and Responsibilities
As a Janitor, you will be responsible to carry out cleaning and maintenance of the designated assignments given to you. You will clean and dusting the surface, scrubbing, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, pressure washing, sweep, vacuum, mop, cobwebbing, clean restroom, emptying trash cans. following the standard regulation of the company.
Qualifications/Experience
A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in cleaning schools and sanitation is preferred. Intensive level of cleaning schools is an advantage as schools are far more sensitive that they are left in each day when the students leave the premises. All the classrooms, restrooms, halls and canteens require intensive and thorough cleaning each day.
Must have experience in housekeeping and/or in a hotel or similar environment
Must be knowledgeable of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Must know how to clean carpets and use the carpet machines and upholstery.
Must be able to use and operate the buffing machine.
Must be able to lift objects 25 lbs. and over and carry out heavy duty work
Must have integrity, must be diligent, can work independently and must be flexible.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using sponges and squeegees.
Must good listening, written and oral ( Speaking ) communication skills.
Must have ability to use initiative, Physical Stamina, and good time management.
Ability to document inspection and other maintenance activities.
Ability to write an incident report.
Team Player who can perform under pressure and manage workload effectively to meet deadlines.
