DENVER A BARNES T/A DB CONSTRUCTION is looking for a skilled and reliable Mason to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for laying blocks, bricks, concrete, and other masonry materials for residential and commercial constriction projects while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety The Mason will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and finishing structures using brick, block, stone, concrete, and other masonry materials. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other masonry materials according to project specifications
• Mix and apply mortar, cement, and other construction materials
• Construct and repair walls, foundations, partitions, and other structures
• Measure and align work accurately to ensure structural integrity
• Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and instructions
• Repair damaged masonry structures and surfaces as required
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with safety and quality standards
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
• Collaborate with supervisors and other construction workers to complete projects efficiently

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of masonry methods, materials, and tools
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Good mathematical and measurement skills
• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding manual labor
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• With a clean police record
